Use the Exped MultiMat as a ground cloth under or inside your tent or as a carpet for the vestibule; combine with your sleeping pad to provide additional insulation, or double it over for use as an emergency sleeping pad; spread it out as a tablecloth or to cover a wet bench; something to kneel on during roadside repairs. The underside is very thin closed cell foam (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) which provides a bit of insulation, moisture protection and some cushioning, while the top surface is soft, fast-drying, rip-stop nylon. Have you ever had to kneel in a tent that was set up on concrete or rock? It's hard on the knees and hard on your tent's floor. The MultiMat™ can help preserve both.
