This is the ultimate pad! Lightweight and small-packing, but with serious insulation to prevent heat from escaping your sleep environment. They pack bigger than the Insulated Air Core pads, but are still very reasonable to pack in panniers or a small plane. These are NOT fully self-inflating pads, though they'll do a tiny bit of self-inflation if given the chance. Open the valve and give the foam core several minutes to draw in some air - that'll get the job started for you but figure on plenty of manual inflation. Design Features
