NON Self-Inflating Pads by Big Agnes, Exped and Therm-A-Rest
You inflate. The Air Core and Insulated Air Core pads by Big Agnes, the SynMat by Exped and the NeoAir pads by Therm-A-Rest, are lightweight and small-packing enough to fit in just about any saddlebag. In fact, all but the smallest saddlebags will accommodate two of these with room to spare. They pack small but camp big: 2.5" thick to smooth out rough ground; lengths and widths to match most riders; and insulated and non-insulated models to match any season. We highly recommend using a pump to inflate these premium pads.

Semi Self-Inflating Pads by Big Agnes
Open the valve and these sleeping pads PARTIALLY inflate themselves. Popular for their convenience and comfort, these cushy sleeping pads will do some of the work of inflation for you. You'll have to top them off with a few breaths to dial in your perfect firmness, but you won't need a pump. They're heavier and bulkier than inflatable pads, but still reasonable for motorcycling. The lighter, smaller packing Dual Core pads are insulated to 0°, and if you expect to camp on ground colder than that, the Hinman pads are insulated down to -5° and -30° depending on thickness.
