These very lightweight bags save space and protect gear against water, dust, mildew and insects. Very easy to use: stuff compressible gear like clothes, sleeping bag, tent (sans poles); roll the top at least 4x; open the exhaust/relief port and insert a fingertip to push away any obstructions; with fingertip in the relief port, compress the bag with body weight to force out the air; cap the exhaust port. IMPORTANT: You must insert a fingertip into the exhaust port during compression to keep the port open. Otherwise, the port clogs, no air escapes and you could tear the port's flange away from the fabric. Combine with a Schnozzle to quickly inflate a Exped SynMat Basic (those without integrated pump). Or combine with a Schnozzle and a Replacement Adapter for use with Big Agnes and Therm-a-Rest NeoAir pads. |
