Design Features
- Roll top: roll at least 3 times and clip buckles for a waterproof seal (but it is not considered submersible).
- Soft but durable and DWR coated Taffeta nylon with 10,000mm hydrostatic head (3000 mm is considered adequate for extreme conditions).
- 3 lateral compression straps
- The relief port (through which air is expelled) is too small and plugs up easily. You have to insert a fingertip to let air escape.
- When you have a finger in the relief port, you can't cinch the compression straps; but if you don't have a finger in the port, no air will escape when you cinch the straps anyway.
- Compress the load by kneeling on and/or folding the package, with fingertip in the relief port. When compression is complete, cap the port and cinch the compression straps to tidy up the package.
